Kathmandu

We made it to the top of the world!

This place is incredible. I am so overwhelmed I don’t know what to think or do. Kathmandu is such an assault of sights, sounds, colors, smells. Where we are is very touristy, but still amazing. About 75% of the people that come here come to go trekking, most to the Everest base camp which is a three week hike! We are thinking of doing a 7-10 trek in a week or so. Or, maybe we will go on a jungle safari on top of an elephant to try and spot rhinoceroses.

Even though everyone speaks English, the omelet I had for breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, and I am sitting at a new computer typing this, this place could not be further from Los Angeles. It is mind blowing how different things are. I can not believe how overwhelmed I am by it all.

Lastly, congratulations Bernhauser, I heard the Whisky show went great. I wish I could have been there.
